The POE specification only allows you to go a distance of 300ft before adding a midspan device however with Veracity's Outreach series this can be boosted to over 1000ft. Another issue that Veracity has solved is that many POE sources have problems with multiple devices like IP cameras during start-up.  When devices bootup they consume more power than during normal operations and get classified into the wrong POE class.  The result is that the POE devices will not power them.  Veracity has created a small inline adapter that can be placed ahead of an IP Camera and will override the incorrect POE classification and send the correct classification to the POE device.
