Veracity

Innovative IP Connectivity Solutions

IP Cameras and IP Telephony are being deployed everywhere and sometimes there are challenges to get ethernet or POE far enough or there are existing coax cables but no CAT 5.

Veracity provides innovative solutions to problems facing the security, telephony and storage industries. to support realworld projects. Veracity focuses on transmission, storage and display solutions, particularly for high-bandwidth mega-pixel IP camera systems.

This product line combine an interactive technology with industry-leading features that allows the Voice and Video over IP units to be installed in many different formats and environments, taking advantage of existing connections.

Veracity's products include:

Highwire - Ethernet Over Video Cable with PoE
Highwire-QUAD - Quad PoE Network Cameras over One Coax Cable
Outreach - PoE-Powered LAN and PoE Repeater
Camswitch QUAD - Wall-mounted PoE Network Switch for IP Cameras.
• and some others like: a NTP master reference clock for CCTV & DVR applications, an instant playback spot monitor recorder for CCTV operators, a robust solid-state single-channel DVR for vehicle applications and a solid state covert surveillance DVR.

HighwireHIGHWIRE. High-Speed Ethernet Over Video Cable . With it you can install IP Network Cameras onto existing coaxial video cable. It uses legacy cabling to cut installation costs and even supports multiple IP cameras, including mega-pixel cameras, over a single cable. It turns any existing analogue video cable (coax) into a high-speed Ethernet connection. This allows multiple networked IP cameras to replace a single analogue CCTV camera, without installation of any new cabling. Thus the investment in the original cabling (usually some 30% to 40% of any system installation cost) can be retained and exploited for new-generation networked CCTV camera systems. It is especially suited to mega-pixel IP camera applications or multiple IP cameras as it supports high data rates.

Highwire PoEHIGHWIRE PoE. Ethernet Over Video Cable with PoE OUT The latest addition to the HIGHWIRE range, this new model includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering an IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. The HIGHWIRE is powered as normal, and the PoE output runs the IP camera, making installation easy.

Highwire QuadHIGHWIRE QUAD. Four x PoE Network Cameras over One Coax Cable. This model integrates HIGHWIRE with a four-port 100BaseT network switch, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering four PoE Class 2 (6.5W) IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. HIGHWIRE Quad itself is powered by a 12V or 24V supply near the camera end, and supports all four IP cameras connections on one legacy coaxial video cable, communicating with a standard single-port HIGHWIRE at the control room end. HIGHWIRE Quad can even support 4 x mega-pixel IP cameras on one coax. Wall-mountable, robust, compact and extremely cost-effective.

OutreachOUTREACH. PoE-Powered LAN and PoE Repeater. It doubles, triples or even quadruples the normal 330ft (100m) CAT5 cable run length for 100BaseT networks. It forwards both Ethernet and PoE for another 330ft (100m) using a power-processing scheme, and multiple units can be employed in series for even longer distances, with no degradation in network speed or latency. It itself is powered by a PoE network switch (or PoE injector) and so requires no separate power connection in the middle of the cable, making it extremely easy to connect and power IP cameras two or three times further than previously possible without going to fibre or installing midspan power sources.

CamswitchCAMSWITCH QUAD. Wall-mounted PoE Network Switch for IP Cameras. It is a four-plus-one-port 100BaseT Ethernet industrial network switch especially designed for networked video applications. Four of the ports offer Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. The fifth port on the opposite side of the case provides a convenient downstream network link for easy cable management. It itself is powered by a 12V or 24V supply at the camera end. Wall-mountable, robust, compact and priced to compete with standard desktop switches which are less well-suited to real-world installations.
