CyberData's new VoIP Intercom is a SIP-enabled two-way communications device that easily connects into existing local area networks. It operates as a door entry phone or apartment or hotel keyboard switch with access control capabilities, or as an emergency phone with mass notification capabilities. The VoIP Intercom is capable of two-way communication with a dedicated extension, and one-way communication with a paging zone or call-all. A DTMF operated relay can activate a door opener or other auxiliary controls.

CyberData's Intercom is different than most IP Intercoms. It is enabled to be "intelligent" and to have the ability to do more than just make or receive a call. Below are some of the new features:

• Open Door Sensor - If wired to a switch on a door, this can trigger flashing the LED, activating the relay, sending an audio message to a specific extension, sending and repeating an audio message to the Intercom's speaker, selecting either door sensor normally open or closed contacts.

• Tamper Sensor - The Intercom has a built-in optical intrusion detector that will trigger when the face plate is removed from the housing. Multiple actions (based on the values set) can trigger flashing the LED, activating the relay, sending an audio message to a specific extension, sending and repeating an audio message to the Intercom's speaker.

• Auto-Answer - Intercom will auto-answer or ring until the Call button is pressed.

• Relay Control - Activates when the Intercom is being called, on call out (time value can be set), and activates remotely via DTMF (time value can be set)
