IP Surveillance and Physical Security

You may have noticed in our new website we changed the name of our IP Surveillance group to IP Surveillance and Physical Security. We did this because there is a great opportunity for our resellers and integrators to win add-on business in the access control and biometrics space. At ABP Tech we have been testing these and selected a few products and interop tested with our surveillance solutions to create a nice upsell business for our IP Surveillance reseller partners.

You will find all our new Access Control products marked or tagged on ABP Tech's blog as IP to the Door. The new vendors we are launching with in June are ISONAS - IP to the door Access Control with card readers and keypads and Stonelock - Standalone and Network IP to the door Biometric solution. We currently offer several virtual connections between IP access control and IP Surveillance making a direct dry contact link between the two unnecessary for Mobotix and some of our NVR platforms like Arteco and Milestone.

IP Infrastructure Playing a Role in Surveillance

Please also take a look at our new IP Infrastructure line. You can now offer a full family of state of the art Multi-WAN business routers from DrayTek. There are Gigabit ethernet POE switches from PLANET for feeding your cameras and IR illuminators, and we offer high-end manageable and stackable layer 3 ethernet switches for the back bone. From same manufacturer we also offer items like fibre optic media converters, industrial grade POE switches with solar panel / battery controller, lightning arrestors and much more.

PoE switches are critical to IP Surveillance systems and solid and robust power as well as processing is key for a multi-megapixel camera system. Ask us about Ethernet Extenders, Media Converters and multi camera POE - long range extenders over CAT3.

ExuS and Mobotix News

ExuS changed its name to XQAND and has released a full line of XQAND NAS servers for Mobotix. Their new "Call Home" feature that will notify you if the system stops recording any camera is awesome and is a killer app. Get it spec'd in any bid and your competitors will have a hard time replicating this feature.  The new Eagle system will grow up to 144 TB.

Mobotix just launched the new Mobotix S15 and D15. This is a nice upgrade over the 14 series. These cameras now come with a new 5 Megapixel sensor that actually is more light sensitive than the original 3 Megapixel sensor.

3CX - The PBX that Works Alongside MxCC
