i25 - A New Compact-sized Hemispheric Camera

The revolutionary Q25M has given birth to a brand new hemispheric camera, which is nearly half the size. The new indoor camera is a fully featured device and built on the 5MP hardware platform. "We believe customers will love the i25 because it offers many of the same features found within the Q25, but at a much lower price point," said Oliver Gabel, MOBOTIX' Chief Technology Officer.

The wall mountable i25 captures an entire room with stunning 180° wall-to-wall view, without any blind spots. As with all MOBOTIX Hemispheric devices, the virtual PTZ on the live and recorded images is performed by the i25 camera without requiring an additional computer or software. In addition the price has been reduced by almost half when compared to the Q25. It will be shipping soon.

MOBOTIX PT Mount for S15 Sensors

MOBOTIX has recently released the PT-Mount for use with S14 and S15 model cameras. The mount is very rugged. You will need to beat on it with a sledgehammer for quite awhile before damaging it. I think you will find it to make your S15 installs much more flexible.

Preventing Crime with MOBOTIX Integration

One of our integrators did a great project recently at a car dealership in Louisiana. Parts were being stripped from cars at night and the goal was to prevent this from happening. They were successfully able to do so as you can read in the case study. In the case study there is also a link to a youtube video showing one of these preventions.

Applications for Use of the MOBOTIX Thermal M15 and S15

The MOBOTIX Thermal cameras are great products but what situations require a thermal solution? Thermal cameras work by detecting heat and thus can tell if a person is in the image by the heat radiated. Perimeter protection combined with MxActivitySensor is an obvious application but other applications include anywhere detecting temperature is desirable. MOBOTIX has reduced the cost of traditional thermal cameras where it now makes some options more economically viable. Here's a blog on some different applications for thermal.
