snom 370 - The Newest, Most Secure VoIP Telephone on the Market!

The snom 370 comes with a large graphical display and expanded memory to allow resellers to compete successfully against other brands. Initial tests with developers have had rousing success with the XML interface and appearance of applications on the screen.

With the large graphical, high-definition display, the snom 370 offers an improved and extended presentation of call lists, address books and caller information. Caller information can be customized easily through XML to depict the information the user wants displayed. This means for users and administrators a decisive edge for ease of information and configuration management.
 
Through the mini browser, users can have direct access to their own applications via the display screen. Users can customize the design of their personal display. Users can also view news tickers and other information as well as access central or public phone directories. The snom 370 supports several audio devices simultaneously, for example, it is possible to use the handset, headset, and loudspeaker concurrently.

The snom 370 offers with its expanded memory capacity in addition to all necessary office functionality such as choice of trunk line, status indicator, group lines, transfer, call-pickup or conferencing (3-way conference bridge) more scope for individual functions and applications. The expanded memory capacity also enables the depiction of graphics and high resolution pictures to show the status of contacts (e.g., busy, on-line, off-line) similar to Instant Messenger. It is also possible to play music and media files.

Snom continues to focus on the highest security features necessary for businesses, especially sensitive business environments, such as hospitals, finance, insurance or military. To avoid problems with unwanted violations of audio data, the snom 370 supports the current security standards such as TLS (Transport Layer Security), SRTP and SIPS. snom and MicroSoft Exchange Server 2007

Snom recently announced that snom’s VoIP phones can now be used with Microsoft’s Exchange Server 2007. The security provided

by snom’s SIP-based (Session Initiation Protocol) IP communications offers a complex, protected and unassailable IP communications infrastructure. Both snom and Microsoft customers benefit from the increased security measures that are put into place when using a snom IP phone in a SIP-based environment.

Users can gain complete access to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 services and hear messages with the simple touch of a key on a snom phone.  The automatic speech recognition remotely controls all features and provides users with the ability to clearly listen to e-mails, journal entries, contact data, and calendar entries through the phone.

snom Provisioning, Configuration and Fulfillment

ABP offers resellers and service providers a turn-key operation which eliminates the burden of inventorying, configuring and deploying the snom family of IP phones. Whether for a hosted service, business application or remote users, ABP can provide the most current firmware release or switch manufacture recommended firmware for your application.
