For Immmediate Release:

HSINCHU, Taiwan DrayTek Corp. (TSE:6216), a Taiwan-based networking solutions provider, today announces to cooperate with ABP Technology, the DrayTek’s exclusive distributor in the States to showcase the latest networking solutions at 2013 IT Expo East in Miami, FL ( January 30 - February 01; Booth No: 322). We liaison with the ABP Technology team to participate at several panel sessions educating resellers on how we can help their customers while growing their revenue opportunities in the Cloud Solutions Space. Keynote speakers will be Robert Messer, the President of the ABP technology and Henry Castillo, Technical Director. The ABP Team will introduce benefits of Multi-WAN, load balancing and QoS to make business connection to in the cloud applications safer, faster insure voice quality and offer business content management.

Mid-sized Business Solutions

DrayTek promotes the IPv6 ready Vigor3200/300B/2960/3900 to deliver the Business Continuity for the mid-sized business segment. These models offer Advanced Multi-WAN Redundancy / Load-balance to ensure your organization to stay connected. The flexibility of multi-WAN interface gives the scalability to add more WAN links to increase bandwidth as the business growth. By the multi-WAN links, the organization can guarantee the SLA as offering cloud-based application services. With the implemented Authoritative DNS server, our CPEs can do inbound load-balance to guide the outbound requests through the available links to access the application server. We additionally provide the weighted management making the fatter pipe(s) handle more requests.

To optimize the usage of the subscribed bandwidth, DrayTek provides the novel bandwidth management/QoS (Quality-of-Service) for the VoIP, data and multi-media streaming. The QoS function handles both incoming & outgoing packets and can do QoS re-tag to guide another router in the ISP site to process applications based on the suitable priority. User can extend the QoS coverage from the LAN site to the WAN site.

The secure network is also important to the business continuity. The 802.1q tag-based VLAN functions allow multi-subnets to be allocated for multiple workgroups. When combined with the NAT and firewall functions, you can design corporate network groups in terms of traffic, security level, priority settings, etc. Applications such as VoIP can also be integrated into VLAN tags and firewall objects, giving you the maximum flexibility in designing workgroups for your organization. The Content Security Management (CSM) function further helps the firewall manage the network more effectively. You can control the usage of different applications (e.g. Skype/Dropbox…) and set keyword to block the access to certain URLs in both HTTP & HTTPS scenarios. As enabling the web content filter license, powered by Commtouch GlobalView Web Content Filter (WCF), the IT staff can quickly define what types of websites not allowed employees to access just by ticking boxes in the pre-defined categories.

For the secure inter-office / remote access, DrayTek’s renowned VPN feature covers site-to-site & client-to-site applications and allows users with the flexibility to choose PPTP/IPsec/L2TP protocols. The multi VPN protocols allow the Vigor router to easily connect with current deployed routers from other vendors. The VPN load-balance & redundancy (failover) is available in the site-to-site scenario via the GRE over IPsec technique. As choosing Vigor3900/V2960, Central VPN Management (CVM) can do Firmware Upgrade / Configuration backup & restore / Google Map / Status / VPN to Topology & management for Vigor routers deployed in the remote sites.

Small Business Solutions

DrayTek recommends two IPv6 ready firewall routers for the small office application including the Vigor2920n (broadband) and Vigor2830n (ADSL2/2+). They all deliver the reliable Internet connection via the dual WAN interface and secure wireless network. The specifications cover many functions that are required by modern day businesses, including secure but easy to apply firewall, comprehensive embedded VPN facilities (32 VPN tunnels), 4 Gigabit LAN ports, the USB port for 3G/4G LTE mobile broadband, FTP servers and network printers, VLAN for flexible workgroup management, robust Web Content Filter/CSM and Firewall and much more. By the latest firmware advancement (V3.6.3), the Vigor2920n can use the web portal feature to direct both wired & wireless connected devices in defined subnet(s) and SSID(s) to different URLs or see different messages. You can set up-to 4 different URLs or messages to LAN site clients. This feature will also available in the Vigor2830n via the future firmware upgrade.

All of mentioned Vigor routers can be centrally managed by the VigorACS SI, the central management system via TR-069 protocol over multi-site tenant CPEs in the cloud. For extending the wireless coverage, you can choose DrayTek’s PoE AP, the VigorAP 800. This AP is fully capable for Wi-Fi Bridge & Repeater and Dual LAN extendibility with USB plug-and-play 5 GHz dongle.

In addition to the business solutions, DrayTek brings two IPv6 ready Wi-Fi Routers for home and SOHO usages. One is the VigorFly 210 for both broadband and the 4G/LTE Internet. Another is the Vigor2130n for the super fast broadband (up-to 800Mbps) to support multimedia streaming for the Digital Home and it is a very secure home router for Gaming and E-learning.
