IP Fundamentals for Security Professionals

This class is designed to help security solution providers with experience in analog cameras to migrate into the IP world. The security industry is changing rapidly. Traditional CCTV systems are being replaced with IP cameras over an IP network or combined with existing solution to create hybrid systems. Many new projects are being requested as pure IP based video surveillance systems. IP has become much easier. New solutions need to be ready to be integrated into the existing data networks. Learn how to select projects, design solutions and install them. Part I focuses on basics for designing and installing IP networks for video surveillance solutions.

Objective:

This course teaches participants the fundamentals of networks, hardware devices TCP/IP Ethernet networks and troubleshooting. The class is tailored to professionals in the CCTV analog based solutions to move your business to IP based security based systems. This class will help you understand enough about IP networks to sell and install IP based video Surveillance systems.
