Installing NATPass
Introduction:
NATPass pretty much installs itself with a few exceptions:
- It installs itself into /usr/local/natpass/ .
So download it to something like /tmp
- It tries to "glean" the domain from the Unix Settings but this doesn't always work.
So you have to modify the "domain=" line/s in /usr/local/natpass/cfg/natpass.cfg
- It doesn't start itself automatically.
So you have to start it with the following command:
/usr/local/natpass/bin/natpass_ctl start
- If you change the/usr/local/natpass.cfg, you have to restart natpass.
Use the following command:
/usr/local/natpass/bin/natpass_ctl restart
- The /usr/local/natpass/logs/natpass.log file gets HUGE.
So the install script sets up a /etc/logrotate.d/natpass file to rotate it daily.
SUSE Only: SUSE has a bug in its logrotate implementation where you can not use "olddir". Delete this line from /etc/logrotate.d/natpass on SUSE machines.
Watch this file for a couple of days to make sure logrotate is working correctly.
