VoIP 2.0!
DALLAS, TEXAS, (January 10, 2005) — ABP
Technology today announced they will have their latest VoIP products
including Hitachi Cable’s Wireless IP Phone, SIPURA Analog
Telephony Adapters, Epygi IPBXs which now support SIP phones, and
Intertex’s new SIPswitch on
display at TMC™’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference
& EXPO Miami 2005, February 22-25, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel
in Miami, Florida. INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO
is the nation’s premier event for showcasing leading cost-saving
and cutting-edge IP telephony products and services.
“ABP’s participation at INTERNET
TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO is a primary reason why this show is
widely recognized as the industry’s #1 venue to test, compare,
and learn about the benefits and cost-savings inherent in IP telephony
products and services,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and
conference chairman. “The
evolution in this industry has been monumental and it still continues
to grow. We are proud to have
ABP Technology with their expertise in the VoIP products they have
evaluated and distribute as a key part of this year’s
program.”
Hitachi Cable’s
Wireless IP-5000 Phone is an advanced wireless IP phone that allows users
to achieve crystal clear voice communication over an IEEE 802.11b
wireless IP network. Not only does the Wireless IP-5000 support all of
the conveniences and functions of a digital phone, it also perfectly
integrates all key features of stationary IP phones and offers long
battery life and great range.
SIPURA Analog Telephony
Adapters enable
individuals and companies to protect and extend their telephony
investments. Installed by the
end user and remotely provisioned, configured, and maintained by the
service provider, each SPA converts voice traffic into data packets for
transmission over an IP network. The SPA can be used in consumer and
business IP telephony service offerings including full-featured IP
Centrex.
Epygi Quadro iPBXs with SIP
protocol support for IP phones can use both local phone company lines and VoIP
service lines to be the reliable, versatile, and cost-effective iPBX
for small businesses, branch offices, and home offices. The advanced IP
routing features and firewall protects the office computers and
provides QOS for IP calls. The Epygi Auto Attendant presents a big company
image and the system offers voicemail, conferencing, and all of the
standard PBX features. Save on
fixed line costs and toll charges while at the same time maintaining
known phone numbers for incoming calls and for backup in case of a
temporary loss of Internet connectivity or temporary QOS problems.
Intertex’s new
SIPswitch includes
an access router to enable several PC’s and up to 24 SIP devices
to share a single broadband connection and a firewall for security and
privacy on the LAN. The included basic SIP proxy and dialplan allow it
to be used as a local mini PBX for IP phones. When used with a hosted
IPBX solution this product can be used as a "fall back" proxy
in case IP connectivity is down to allow the local IP phone network to
continue operating and even make calls out through a local optional
gateway. The unit also includes
a PCMCIA Slot enabling the addition of a Wireless card for a
residential wireless network that will support wireless SIP devices.
“We
are passionate about the success of our resellers and service provider
partners and the Internet Telephony event in Miami has always been a fantastic
venue for us to meet our customers face to face and exchange critical
information on products, engineering concepts and sales issues.”
said Robert Messer.
