snom Announces Compatibility with Thirdlane PBX Manager

Both Companies' Products Available Through ABP Technology for One-Stop VoIP System Shopping

BERLIN, GERMANY, San Francisco, CA and Dallas, TX – July 23, 2007 – snom tech-nology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones, today an-nounced that its phones are supported by Third Lane Technologies’ PBX Manager, software developed for Asterisk® or Asterisk Business Edition™. As a distributor for both snom and Third Lane, ABP Technology offers customers one-stop shopping for a complete, user-friendly VoIP telephony system.

“Our goal is to make VoIP telephony implementations – regardless of size – as easy as pos-sible for solution providers and end users,” said Alex Epshteyn, president of Third Lane Technologies. “Given the highly configurable, SIP-based nature and various applications available through snom’s phones, they are an ideal match for our PBX Manager. PBX Manager provides a Web management interface for Asterisk that greatly reduces the time and effort required to configure and manage Asterisk-based PBXs. While providing a simple interface for the day-to-day PBX management, this software does not limit users in implementing of custom features and advanced customizations. PBX Manager eases phone configuration through its template-based format - allowing solution providers and end users to develop one file that can be used in company-wide configurations rather than having to manually configure each phone individually.

All snom VoIP telephones, including the 300, 320, 360 and 370, are highly configurable and easy to manage through the keypad-cursor, dedicated function keys and menus, or Web browser, and offer user-friendly features like full-programmable keys and downloadable ringtones. snom phones offer a complete implementation of the IETF’s latest recommendations for standards-based authentication and content security (SIP(s)/sRTP).
