Digium Wildcard TDM2400 B

Digium's high density multi-port analog card. Scalable, mix and match FXS & FXO, plus echo canceling, as needed.

The Wildcard TDM2400P is a full-length 32-bits 33 MHz PCI2.2 compliant card that supports quad FXS station and quad FXO office interfaces (for a total of 24 maximum channels on a single PCI slot) for connecting analog telephones and lines trough a PC. The TDM 2400 can be used to connect standard telephone lines to a PC and Asterisk.

Using Digium’s TDM hardware, Asterisk PBX software and standard PCs, users can create SME or SOHO telephony environment that includes all the sophisticated features of the high-end PBX/Voicemail platform.

Using and industry-standard bursting, bus-mastering PCI interface chip, and Digium’s patent-pending VoiceBus technology, the TDM2400 eliminates the requirement of separate channel bank and T1/E1 interface cards, at an industry-leading price. The quad FXO and quad-FXS modules are interchangeable, allowing the creation of any combination of interfaces. The optional hardware echo cancellation module provides 256 taps of echo cancellation for superior echo cancellation on both FXO and FXS interfaces. Scaling of this solution is accomplished by adding additional TDM2400P cards.

The naming convention for the TDM24 bundles is as follows: TDM24 X Y B. Where "TDM24" denotes that the card is TDM with up to 24 ports, "X" denotes the number of quad FXS modules, "Y" denotes the number of quad FXO modules, "B" indicates that that this product is a bundle. To achieve hardware echo cancellation, any of these cards can work in conjunction with the new module VPMADT302. The VPMADT302 provides 128 ms or 1024 taps on each of up to 31 channels and is based on Adaptive Digital Technology's echo cancellation algorithm and runs on a Texas Instruments DSP. The ADT echo can technology is G.168 compliant and has been approved by the AT&T labs as toll-quality.
