This summer's IP Sizzle was a great success with its expanded agenda of two days, a single general session track and long exhibit hours. We also had a lot of fun at social gatherings like Margarita, cocktail time in the ABP Solutions Hall and dinner, racing and relaxation at Speedzone.

I want to personally thank you for joining our event and contributing to IP Sizzles’ success this year. Many of you complimented our new format and the overall themes and structure of the event. It’s a challenge for the ABP staff to stage such a program but our reward is seeing the high level of enthusiastic participation by all the attendees.
Each year we have found new ways to enhance our event and we would like to have your feedback to keep the momentum going. For example, what session, speaker, product or discussion made the most impact on you and your future business? What did you like the most? What suggestions do you have that would make Sizzle a better experience for you? What would you change next time? Your input will go into helping plan Sizzle 08. You are a part of ABP and your input is important to help plan Sizzle 2008!
On a separate note and as a private exercise to make the event more valuable to you, please make yourself some written notes about how you plan to apply what you learned, ie selling new or additional IP products, getting additional training for you or your staff, how to promote and advertise your company, etc.? Remember Brian’s ”If its to be, it’s because of me”. Only you can make things happen in your business.

This year’s two main themes were “Making Money with IP Communications” exploring the benefits of IP convergence solutions hat resellers can sell today and “Mobility and Wireless VoIP” focusing on the value of mobility with Wi-Fi and DECT solutions.
We all had the chance to explore new angles of how to provide value to our customers. We saw practical examples of open source based solutions, unified messaging and the integration of IP phones into the world of custom applications with XML., SIP Cameras and state of the art IP WAN bandwidth management.
With new insights into the latest developments everyone has the opportunities to propel sales to a next level. It truly was a a show for the reseller that takes the future in his hands!
