At ABP we installed an e-DATA access control system with bio-metric finger print readers years and years ago and it is still working with no issues. Thus we can attest, it is solid, it works, no issues. Based on a network design, the control unit is a simple 4x4 box that plugs directly into your network, contains a Linux operating system and no server or control panel boxes are required. You simply login into the unit with a web browser to manage. Their bio-metrics are top notch, select the number of fingers you want to enroll, the amount of security needed, enroll and it just works.
