Analysis of ALTAI A3 WiFi Coverage and Throughput

Altai Technologies has introduced a new member of its ultra-sophisticated Altai family, Altai A3. This new device has all the features from its family. Works as bridge like A0, Access point as Altai A2 and is compatible with big daddy Altai A8. In addition it has wireless 802.11n, which supports advance Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology which increases throughput for this device.

Altai Technologies introduce it’s small, stylish looking, advance featured product giving a far superior edge over available consumer wifi systems . Altai A3 supports a/b/g/n wireless technologies. In addition to which it has front, side and external radio featured, which gives a 180 degree hemispherical wifi coverage area (sometimes 360 degrees considering reflection for indoor implementation).

Altai A3 can act as multi-functional device. It can be used as AccessPoint, Repeater and/or Bridge for a mesh network. Below diagram shows the option for different features present. The different radio mode can be enable for side and/or front and/or external type.

As tested at ABP, Altai A3 proves to be more effective and efficient with respect to its counterpart. As far as 200 meters from the access point the signal strength still look strong with 32000 bytes of packets. Altai A3 ping test from 200m range

The diagram below shows the picture for the ABP test area. The red coverage area is the Altai A3 and the blue for other device. As you can conclude from below diagram, Altai A3 has more coverage and from the ping test it can be proves that the throughput is more than its competitors.
